You can use 8-12 pieces of gum a day.

Do not use more than 25 pieces of 2mg gum a day.

These effects include:n feeling faintn feeling sick (nausea)n headachen hiccuping (due to excessive swallowing of nicotine)Side-effects of nicorette® gumNICORETTE® Gum can sometimes cause a slight irritationof the throat at the start of the treatment.
